James Grennen earned a BA degree in History from Fordham University in 1972 and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Graduate School of Business in 1979.
Over the years, Grennen’s work has focused on helping individuals, and couples and businesses solve financial problems including those experiencing tax difficulties.
James Grennen founded Grennen Financial Inc. in Bohemia, Long Island, New York. At that company Grennen would continue his work as a financial planner and investment manager, again working with clients of all income levels.
Grennen Financial ultimately evolved into Woodhull Capital Advisors, LLC.
Grennen has held the following securities and insurance industry licenses: Series 3, Series 7, Series 65, and the NY State life and health insurance license. As a fee-only certified financial planner, he is no longer allowed to hold any of these licenses.

Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) – awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA)
Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) – awarded by the NEBB Institute Certified

Marina Grennen heads up the Whealthcare Planning effort at Woodhull Capital Advisors, LLC. Marina is a master’s prepared, certified emergency nurse with a solid clinical experience in critical care and emergency nursing.
Marina presently holds the position of Clinical Educator, Emergency Department at a major New York area hospital. She previously served as a staff nurse in that same department since 1994.
Marina has a Registered Nurse Diploma from Cork University Hospital, Cork, Ireland. She also has a BS in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph College of NY and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Marina is a New York State Registered Professional Nurse. She has been engaged in the practice of nursing for over 40 years.
Marina is an active member at the state and local level of the Emergency Nurses Association. She has been published in Critical Care Magazine and the Journal of Emergency Nursing.
Marina resides in Port Jefferson Station, NY with her husband.
